Returns and Refunds

S-K9 is built for real dogs in real environments.
If something isn’t right, we handle it clearly and fairly.

There are two different paths, depending on the situation:

  • A – Wrong size or change of mind: a fit or choice issue. Return required.
  • B – Faulty, damaged, or failed in normal use: covered by our warranty and your statutory rights. No return required.

A – Wrong size or change of mind

This path applies if:

  • You ordered the wrong size
  • The fit isn’t right for your dog
  • You changed your mind after delivery

This is a fit or choice issue, not a product fault.

30 days to return

You can return your S-K9 ChestCollar for a refund of the product price within 30 days of delivery.

This includes your legal right to cancel within 14 days under UK consumer law, which we have extended to 30 days.

How to return

  1. Email contact@s-k9.co.uk with your order number, within 30 days of delivery.
  2. Send the item back within 14 days of letting us know.
  3. We refund the product price within 14 days of receiving it.

Condition

  • Trying the ChestCollar on your dog indoors to check the fit is fine.
  • Please return it clean, undamaged and with all components.
  • If an item comes back used beyond checking the fit, we may reduce the refund to reflect that, as the law allows.
  • Return postage is your responsibility for this path.

Why fit matters

The S-K9 ChestCollar works through contact, and contact depends on fit.
We give sizing guidance, but every dog is different. If the fit isn’t right, send it back.

B – Faulty or damaged on arrival

(Warranty replacement – no return required)

If your S-K9 ChestCollar arrives damaged, or has a manufacturing defect such as faulty hardware or stitching:

  1. Let us know as soon as possible – ideally within 48 hours of delivery – at contact@s-k9.co.uk.
  2. Include your order number.
  3. Attach clear photos showing the defect or damage.

If the issue is confirmed, we send a free replacement at no shipping cost to you. You don’t need to return the original.

6-month design warranty

If your S-K9 ChestCollar fails under normal walking conditions within 6 months of delivery because of material, stitching or hardware failure, we replace it. No return required – just email us your order number and clear photos of the problem.

The warranty does not cover chewing, misuse, incorrect fitting, accidental or intentional damage, or normal wear.

Our warranty is in addition to your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. It does not replace or reduce them.

Our responsibility

If a product fails before it ever reaches a walk, that is on us. You should never pay for a manufacturing error.

This is not insurance.
It’s confidence in the design.

Changing or cancelling an order

If you need to change or cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible at contact@s-k9.co.uk. We’ll do our best, but we can’t guarantee changes once an order has been dispatched. If it has, you can still return it using the steps in our Refund policy.
