By purchasing and using the S-K9, you acknowledge and accept the responsibilities outlined below.

1. Intended Use

The S-K9 is designed for:

  • Walking dogs on a lead

  • Providing tactile feedback during movement

  • Supporting learning through environmental interaction

It is intended for use by responsible handlers who remain present, attentive, and aware of their environment.

The S-K9 is not intended for:

  • Tethering or tie-outs

  • Unsupervised containment

  • Vehicle restraint

  • Long-term confinement

  • Sporting, pulling, or load-bearing activities

2. Handler Responsibility

You are responsible for:

  • Correct fitting of the S-K9

  • Monitoring your dog at all times

  • Choosing appropriate environments

  • Maintaining awareness of surroundings

  • Using a suitable lead and attachments.

  • Not suitable for long lead over 6 ft

  • Not suitable for retractable lead

  • Exercising reasonable judgement

Dogs are autonomous animals.
Their behaviour cannot be guaranteed.

3. Supervision Requirement

The S-K9 must only be used under active supervision.

Never leave your dog unattended while wearing the S-K9.

Remove the S-K9 when:

  • At home

  • In a crate

  • In a vehicle

  • In enclosed or unsupervised spaces

  • Off lead

4. Environmental Risk

The S-K9 does not remove environmental risk.

You remain responsible for managing:

  • Traffic

  • Other animals

  • Children

  • Cyclists

  • Wildlife

  • Terrain hazards

The S-K9 does not replace situational awareness.

5. Health & Physical Condition

Do not use the S-K9 if your dog has:

  • Existing spinal injury

  • Neck, chest, or shoulder injury

  • Respiratory conditions

  • Cardiac conditions

  • Neurological disorders

  • Recent surgery

  • Growth plate vulnerability

If in doubt, consult a qualified veterinary professional before use.

6. Behavioural History

Dogs with a history of:

  • Severe aggression

  • Panic responses

  • Escape behaviour

  • Extreme reactivity

should be introduced gradually and used only with professional guidance.

The S-K9 does not replace behavioural support where required.

7. No Behavioural Guarantees

The S-K9 does not promise:

  • Behavioural change

  • Reduction of reactivity

  • Elimination of pulling

  • Emotional regulation

  • Social tolerance

Learning is individual and non-linear.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, S-K9 shall not be liable for:

  • Injury to dogs

  • Injury to handlers

  • Injury to third parties

  • Property damage

  • Behavioural incidents

  • Loss, distress, or emotional harm

arising from use or misuse of the product.

Total liability is limited to the purchase price of the product.

Nothing in this disclaimer limits liability where unlawful.

9. Acceptance of Risk

  • Animals are unpredictable

  • Environments are dynamic
